Current LSB Member: Marilyn Vogt-Downey

Marilyn Vogt-Downey was elected to the LSB in 2019 as a listener representative and chaired LSB’s 2019-2020 Management Evaluation Committee. Pacifica Bylaws list such an evaluation of station management as an annual duty of the LSB but it had not been successfully completed for over a decade. She has been active in WBAI Fightback helping to defeat the 2020 and the 2021 Pacifica Bylaws Referenda that would have eliminated local control over the 5 Pacifica stations.

She is a member of the Central Brooklyn branch of DSA and has been active in revolutionary political organizations for many years.
